Automatic disposable device for soft tissue biopsy with coaxial needle and 20 mm notch
Themy C contains the same features as the standard Themy needle, but is supplied with a coaxial introducer needle.
The coaxial needle provides advantages such as:
- Faster cannula advancement by avoiding friction of parenchymal tissues
- Ability to perform multiple biopsies by inserting the needle into the coaxial which remains inside the target tissue
- Easier target biopsy location due to echogenic markers
