PenBoneBlu is a disposable device for sternal and iliac bone marrow aspiration.

The needle is equipped with an atraumatic cannula with Chiba type sharpening made out of tempered AISI 304 stainless steel. The Chiba type sharpening facilitate the needle insertion while maintaining high mechanical strength.

PenBoneBlu is provided with removable wings, making the handle ergonomic and easier to handle.

The surface of the handle indicates the size of the cannula in gauges. The syringe can be attached to the device by removing the cap on top of the device and using the luer lock connection underneath.

The cannula of the device is provided with centimeter markings.

PenBoneBlu is provided with a safety spacer, which allows the operator to select the depth of insertion and operate in complete safety on the patient. Thanks to the safety spacer the device is characterized by a variable length, which is represented in the picture below.
